What is the Natural Resource Council?

We are a group of people representing Big Sky regional nonprofits, large developments, and landowners. We work to provide resources that address natural resource issues and to connect people in our community with information and funding opportunities.

Who is in charge?

The Big Sky Natural Resource Council is a sub-committee of the Northern Rocky Mountain RC&D (Resource Conservation and Development) area. You can learn more about them at their web site: http://nrmrcd.org/. They serve as our nonprofit organizational umbrella.

Will the council make rules, laws, regulations or taxes?

NO! We are merely a nonprofit organization that is here to help by providing information and resources to the public.
